Clean Caramel Corn

Clean & Lean Caramel Popcorn © Preheat your oven to 250 and set out two large cookie sheets – I like to put parchment paper on my cookie sheets for this recipe. Air pop a large bowl of popcorn. I make my own microwave popcorn by taking a brown paper bag and putting a little over a 1/4 cup of popcorn seeds in it and putting in in the microwave on the popcorn setting. You’ll have you’re own inexpensive version of microwave popcorn! Melt a 1/4 cup coconut oil in the melted oil add 6 TBL’s pure maple syrup a tiny bit of vanilla extract and 1/2 tsp of sea salt or Himalayan sea salt To help evenly distribute the mixture you can put half of the plain popcorn on your cookie sheets while you mix half of your mixture on the first half of the popcorn. Dump in the second half of the popcorn and add the rest of the popcorn on top, mix again. bake for one hour

Instructions
  1. Air pop popcorn
  2. Melt coconut oil
  3. Add all other ingredients to melted coconut oil
  4. Pure on top of the popped corn in a large bowl or paper bag
  5. Distribute caramel evenly over the popcorn
